The Mystery of the Royal Brooch

תעלומת הסיכה המלכותית

The royal diamond brooch, from the French Crown Jewels collection, was designed in the 18th century and served as an official ornament for royal court ceremonies. The last to wear it, before it was kept in the vaults of the French national treasury, were Empresses Josephine and Eugénie. The brooch was placed on blue velvet, in a red leather box, stamped with the emblem of the French Empire.

The brooch, which witnessed historical events, was displayed at the Louvre Museum and is one of the French Crown Jewels that were stolen in October 2025.

Like diamonds - history continues to sparkle, even when it disappears into the darkness, in the hope that it will be rediscovered.
