Between Past and Present: The Renewal of Albertina Gallery

Behind centuries-old stone walls and arches, a new chapter has begun in the story of Albertina Gallery.

Over recent months, the historic building that houses the gallery has undergone a meticulous process of preservation and renewal. Original stone walls and ancient arches were revealed, architectural details preserved across generations were given new life, and every decision was guided by respect for the building’s distinctive character.

The purpose of this process was not to alter the soul of the gallery, but to allow it to reveal itself anew. The ancient stone, wooden furnishings, and historic display cases continue to tell the story of the building, now creating a more complete and refined setting for Albertina’s collection of antique jewelry.

With the work now complete, the gallery has reopened. Past and present meet in the renewed space, where every jewel is given the setting, light, and atmosphere worthy of the story it carries.

We look forward to welcoming you to the renewed Albertina Gallery in Old Jaffa.
